The idea for this poster all started with the word stalk. My understanding of the word was stalk as in to hunt. From there, the icon of a panther in a stalking position was made. The image was developed further to be a minimalistic poster representing the movie The Jungle Book.
Ida B. Wells
2021
The poster showcases the life of Ida B. Wells. She did a lot of work in 1892 to fight towards gaining African American rights. The text is designed to burst and spill from the numbers to visualize her fight to break the mold.
